National Pathology Conference 2024, to be held on 2nd and 3rd October 2024, invites abstracts for poster or oral presentations.

Rules for Submission

1. Scientific material must be original, unpublished, and not accepted for publication or presentation at another meeting/ conference.

2. All presenting authors must register for the conference.

3. Authors may submit an unlimited number of abstracts. A maximum of five (5) authors can be listed in each poster.

4. All submissions are encouraged to be registered with the National Medical Research Register (NMRR) before the deadline.

6. Abstract templates for original article and case report/series are available at (Link to Abstract Template).

7. You are required to display your poster at the event and to submit your poster in PDF format to us via email.

8. If you are selected for the oral presentation, you are required to attend the presentation on the event day.

9. Further details regarding poster display, oral and poster presentations will be informed via email once finalized by the committee.

10. Hardcopy and faxed abstracts WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

11. All accepted abstracts will be included in the program book.

12. (NEW) All the accepted abstracts will be published in THE MALAYSIAN JOURNAL OF PATHOLOGY, MJPath. Therefore, submission of abstracts constitutes the authors’ consent for publication of abstracts.

Submission Closing Date: 31 August 2024

Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Do not wait until the last moment to submit your work.

Submission and Notification

1. All abstracts must be submitted by uploading to the google form: Abstract Submission Form

2. All abstracts submitted will be acknowledged through email within three (3) working days upon receipt.

3. Please contact the Conference Secretariat if you do not receive the acknowledgement email.

4. All abstracts will be evaluated against Originality, Study Design, Study Quality, Statistical Methods, Ethical Issues, Content, and Importance/Relevance.

5. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the submitting author via email by 14 September 2024.

6. The Judges' decisions are final.
